Halloween 2008

I know that it has been a while since I have been on here. We have been busy with work, school, church and all the other family activities.
We had a good Halloween. We all went to the Trunk or Treat at church. There was a lot of cars for gathering candy. There was also bounce slides, hayrides and food. We all had alot of fun especially the girls. Maggie was the Mad Hatter and Olivia was a vampire. They both looked really cute. There were tired from the night and went right to bed.

Tonight was Maggie's 1st concert! She did great! Hopefully I will have more videos up soon!

Updates...

We have completed our first week of school! Everything went very well. Olivia has enjoyed moving up to the "big" class and see old friends. Maggie is enjoying seeing all her friends.

Today was our first soccer practice. It went really good. Everyone seemed to have a good time despite the 89 degree weather. First game will be Saturday.

Hurricane Fay

I couldn't find Lucy the other day. I called and called for her but nothing. So I went on a hunt. First the horse barn...nothing. Under the porch...nothing. In the woods...nothing. Finally when I was just about ready to give up I heard something underneath the RV. And this is what I found. Lucy decided to get the last little bit of food from the automatic feeder...she got it alright. Her head was stuck in the plastic container. She then out of fear I guess climbed under the RV. Everytime she tried to climb out she would bang the container on the RV then on the ground. Her head was like a tennis ball back and forth. Finally James pulled her out. We had to pull one ear out then tug and tug to get it off. She was very happy and patient with all the pulling. But it was absolutly hillarious!!!

It has been a while since I have added anything but here are the latest pics. We have been on vacation and had a great time..Look and see

VBS

This week the girls have been attending Vacation Bible School. The theme this year was "Outrigger Island". Aloha!! The girls had a great time. Tonight was the VBS Family Night. They performed their VBS songs and well as telling parents what they learned for the week. They did a great job! Maggie was very excited. The first day I signed her in and she pretty much pushed me out the door. Olivia was excited but a bit overwhelmed. There was alot of kids in her age group! But it was a great week for both!! There was an average 0f 550 kids per night--wow! That's alot of kids learning about Jesus. The teachers had their hands full. Also Maggie's picture from VBS was chosen to be on the front page of our newspaper! She was "famous" as she said!!

They did a great job! Maggie was "Tinkerbell" in the second act

and then she was a Pirate in the third act. They had a great performance!

After the performance we came back to our house and had cake and ice cream.

It was a really good night.
